Digital Design
BabyBaby is a sustainable home goods store based in Los Angeles, founded by the mother-daughter duo Breny Mendoza and Anais Castaldi. Their goal with the business is to create a platform for women through artisanal collaborations. For the launch of their Madre Linen Collection, Anais wanted to provide customers with a visual tutorial for napkin folding, inspired by some vintage graphics she had found and liked. Using original film photos provided by Anais, I crafted a graphic that lives on Instagram and serves as a helpful resource for those who have purchased napkins from BabyBaby.
Photography
Anais provided a lovely collection of original film photographs for use in the visual tutorial.

Typography + References

I explored several font pairings aligned with the concept: something timeless and simple with a hint of personality. I landed on these three typefaces: Angie Sans Std, Helvetica Bold, and Helvetica Neue.

BabyBaby also provided me with some of their other branding collateral for reference. They set a nostalgic mood with grainy film photos and a washed-out color palette.
Layout Options
I experimented with various layouts, all of which I shared with the client before we landed on a final version.
